Virtually all of us are too young to remember the California gold rush, but today that same “gold fever” runs just as high on the internet. Because the internet in general and affiliate network marketing in particular represents a 21st century gold rush.
Millions are being made online in the affiliate marketing arena and you can certainly get your share if you are willing to learn a few online marketing basics, dig in, get to work and make the needed course corrections along the way.
It doesn’t matter what your reasons for “making additional money” are. What matters is your commitment level because, like any business, affiliate marketing requires time and effort to pay off. Particularly if you’re brand new to web marketing. There’s a lot to digest, and a lot of tools and resources you will need to master and become comfortable with.
To start with you’ll need to find an affiliate network marketing program. One
of the best places to begin to start is Clickbank or Commission Junction. Another idea is to go hang out where other network marketers hang out – facebook, forums and even MLM training sites – to find out what other networkers are promoting. Then simply head off to these sites, sign up as a new affiliate, get your unique affiliate link and marketing materials and get busy promoting.
Affiliate Network Marketing: Promotion
There are many ways to promote products and services online. You can run paid advertising campaigns like Google pay-per-click, Facebook advertisements and Youtube sponsored videos. You can submit classified ads, distribute PR releases and take part on forums.
Then set up a wordpress blog and begin writing, publishing and promoting content engineered to attract frustrated network marketers to visit your blog to get more info. Think problem, solution. They have a problem, you have a solution. They have questions, you have answers. They are perplexed about a problem you offer some clarity.
It is best to begin by choosing one specific product, read their complete sales page and then write an article that deals with that product and post it on your brand new blog. Near the end of the article include your affiliate link to that product so readers of the article can click it to take a look at the product. And if they buy… You earn a commission; simple.
Let’s go over that again. You’ve identified a target market, namely frustrated network marketers. You have selected a great service or product to promote to that market. You then create an article or blog post designed to capture the attention of a possible customer. Then simply educate them about how your affiliate network marketing product or service can bring value to their business.
How can working with you or purchasing from you benefit them? How is your product the answer they are searching for?
Can you provide evidence? Testimonials? Perhaps provide a video review on the way to easily install the program or use the software? Can you add value to the offer by manufacturing a short tutorial or bootcamp series? What value-added features does the affiliate seller offer? In short demonstrate how the product provides the solution to the identified problem.
Once you have this first product campaign finished, go find another affiliate network marketing service and repeat the process.
Create your content, or article; publish the content; promote the content. The goal is to have your content rank high in the organic section of a search result. This puts your offer in front of the most people and thus provides you with the best opportunity to generate sales.

Sincerely,
